Vending King Pvt. Ltd. ("Vending King", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Vending King mobile application (the "App"), which allows operators to remotely monitor and manage IphaVend smart vending machines. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have in relation to your data.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:
Account Information
Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register for an operator account.
Machine & Business Data
Vending machine identifiers, placement locations, product listings, inventory levels, pricing configurations, and transaction records generated by your machines.
Location Data
Approximate or precise GPS coordinates of vending machines you register, and optionally your device location if you enable location-based machine tracking.
Device & Usage Information
Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, crash logs, and feature-usage patterns collected automatically to improve app stability and performance.
Communications
Messages or feedback you send to our support team.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its IoT features.
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
- Deliver real-time sales notifications, alerts, and inventory updates to your devices.
- Generate profit analytics, purchase logs, and performance summaries for your vending portfolio.
- Diagnose technical issues, crashes, and machine connectivity problems.
- Send operational communications such as account confirmations, password resets, and service announcements.
- Improve and develop new features based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
- Comply with legal obligations applicable in Nepal and relevant jurisdictions.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
Trusted third-party vendors (cloud hosting, analytics, push notifications) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
Legal Requirements
When required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Vending King, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

For any other purpose with your explicit prior consent.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure cloud storage, and access controls — to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and machine data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. Transaction logs and analytics data are retained for up to 3 years to support business reporting and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 6). After deletion, residual data may be kept in anonymised, aggregated form.

Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

Unsubscribe from non-operational communications at any time.
Location Permissions
Revoke device location access at any time via your phone's settings.

7. Push Notifications
The App sends push notifications for sales events, machine alerts, and low-stock warnings. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your access to the App but may delay awareness of important machine events.
8. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, payment processors). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. Vending King is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
9. Children's Privacy
The Vending King App is intended for use by business operators and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
